Remote window lowering & Posting pics!
I am a new G-35 owner (2003 Sedan-Garnet Fire) and new to this site. I have questions. I just read in the manual that if you hold the unlock button on the factory remote "all door windows will open." On mine, only the front windows lower? Does this indicate a problem. Also, I have tried to attach a picture of my G to a prior post and I received an error message indicating the jpg file was too large. I see a lot of other pics on the site. What is the trick.

Your right dyenboy but I think he wants to roll the windows down with the keyless remote.
All the windows should roll down when "holding" down the unlock button on the remote. Try holding the button longer, sounds silly but it just may need time for the signal to reach all 4 windows.

I heard that only the models that come with leather do it. My g does it, but the front rolls down first the a second later goes down the rear. and yes you do have to hold down the button. Do you have leather?
Yes, I have leather! I just tried it again and held the button down for 15 seconds after the fronts lowered. No go on the rears. Tried the key in the door (did not know about that one) still just the fronts. Guess that is what my does. Certainly not a big deal. Thank you all for the replies.
By the way, I have only had my G for a few weeks, I was wondering when I might get to the point where I can driver it somewhere without the feeling I am in a race and I am 4 cars back with 1 lap to go? Whoohoo hammer down!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK! Let's look at this a little closer shall we.
As calejohnson has indicated, the G35 does have a window lock switch. However when this is engaged, it will prevent all the windows, 'except' the drivers side window from responding.
My first question is, "Do the rear left and rear right windows operate correctly using the switch on each cooresponding door?"
The next question is, "If the main power window switch on the driver door is operated and held, do all the windows lower?"
If not, it may be and open in the wiring harness or a defective power window main switch assembly located on the drivers door.
When the power windows do not appear to operate correctly, two other possibilities may be an open/defective power window serial link or a bad BCU.
Now for the key fob, their are three modes of operation for this unit. My understanding is the Infiniti CONSULT II program is required to change the modes.
The Remote Power Window Down Operation Mode activates when the unlock button on keyfob is held for approx:
Mode 1: 3 seconds
Mode 2: Function disabled
Mode 3: 5 seconds.
The door lock switch window up/down operation requires you to fully turn the key to unlock to lower or lock to raise the windows. The key must be held for approx. 2 seconds. Because you have tried the door lock switch operation, and the windows did not lower, I would feel the Remote infrared unit in the vehicle is not at fault.
Since your vehicle is a 2003, this trouble should be covered by your Infiniti Vehicle Warranty. I would take the vehicle in for a check/repair and remember to take BOTH keyfobs with you so they can be checked as well.
There is one other feature I have found, that may or maynot be related to whether the front driver and passenger or all windows operate. The G35 has two types of auto operation systems. I believe thay are related to the Front Left and Right Power Window Anti-Pinch System, the other, is the Front AND Rear Power Window Anti-Pinch System. How this is applied to the vehicle or as combined with what options, I am not sure.
As for my vehicle, all the features do operate, and I do have the premium package.
Hope I have helped and provided you with enough information.

The rear windows won't be rolled down via the key or remote if your car does not have premium package although the car is leather model.
Check the rear seats whether they are adjustable.
If they are not adjustable seats then your car does not have premium package.
