Thumbs up Got my 2005!

After wasting two weeks with my local Infiniti dealer, (who had me convinced I would have to order my car and wait 2 months) I ran a search on Infiniti's web site and discovered the exact car I wanted (feature/color/etc) at another dealer only an hour away. Do NOT believe the dealer when they tell you they can "search" the inventories of other dealers, it's bullcrap.

So, all that aside, I picked up my new baby this weekend:

She's a black/graphite 2005 5AT with premium, sport, nav and aero. I can already tell that the 1200 mile breakin period is gonna be torture, she's just begging to run! =)

Clear corners and a grounding kit to come shortly. Hopefully, that will be the limit of my modifications for a while. Anyone know how to get those lame little white plugs (from the front-plate assembly) out of the bumper?

Jake

Very nice car. Congrats. I love mine to and it runs great. I have conversed with Gordon via e-mail and PM about a grounding kit. I may do this in the future. Right now, my focus is on my $14000.00 re-roof at home. Our hurricanes this summer kinda did not help my roofs longevity. So, mods will have to wait a bit. Oh well, better to have the car with no mods than not have it at all.

Definitely. Those new factory 18's are pretty damn sweet. The car is begging for 19's, but I don't think I want to sacrifice the ride quality. Besides, with factory wheels so pretty, who needs to upgrade?

Amen to that. Sucks that y'all down in Florida got pounded so hard. You'd think one hurricane would be bad enough, but you folks just got smacked over and over again. :/

At least if your roof caves in, you can be nice and comfy in the G.

InfoCalypse..

Nice G! Got mine this weekend too! I agree with you. The 18s with the Sport Package are sweet and although 19s would be nice, THESE STILL ROCK! My choices were between the Diamond Graphite and the Black. I went with the Diamond Graphite only because I have my fair share of black vehicles and need a break from washing it every 2 days to keep it clean!

Take care of your G! Mine is attached:

I had the same dilemma. I was set on the diamond graphite for a long time, but switched to black at the last minute. I've owned lots of silver cars, and they always look great, but something about this car just demanded black. (I think the rear of the car looks best with black, the rear taillights are kinda big, and black+red seems to look nicer than silver+red to my eyes)

Washing this thing all the time will be a pain, but I'm hoping that semi-regular waxing and a california car duster will help ease the pain. =)
