05 G35x wheel bearing problem?

The past week i've been letting my wife drive the G around. She told me she noticed the G was driving funny. So i jack up the rear passenger and pulled the wheel off and I noticed that you can shake the rotor side to side and up and down. I was thing it was a wheel bearing? anybody got a clue? any help would be great.

The rotors free float and will move freely. You need to jack the car up, grab the wheel by the top and bottom (while it is still booted on) and push/pull from the top and bottom. If there is movement, most likely it is your wheel bearings. With jack stands of course.

^^ what he said

only way to know for sure is to have lift with the tire on(like normal) and then do a shake test

you can also spin it by hand and listen - sometimes if they are really bad you will hear them

the rear bearings dont seem to go out as often as the front ones though

Do you hear a humming noise while driving? If so, the bearing is probably going or gone. I did my right front about a year ago and I've got noise coming from the front left now. Already ordered the bearing. Just waiting for some garage time at my father-in-laws house. He recently installed a lift in the garage so I will be using it this time around but didn't for the last time. Also, contrary to the way most have done it on here, you can change the bearing without removing the whole A arm. I believe that's what it's called. Just need some flex sockets and some creativity, and a long punch to knock the old bearing out. It was a PITA but we got it done. Also will need a press or need to bring it to a local shop to get the old bearing pressed off the hub and the new bearing pressed onto the old hub or a new hub, depending on what parts you order. Good luck.
