Too much noise for me. But i guess the VQ makes it sound better then a 4 cylinder.

Wish I could hear it properly before buying. All I can find is a crappy quality Youtube video. I like the sound of the coupe exhaust though, and it's probably pretty similar.

I have mine and paid $170 locally. I went from coupe mid and hr y pipe to this with hr y pipe. Out sounds good in my opinion. If anything I just don't like the can style. I've never heard it without hr y pipe either

Where did you find it for 170?

Good deal. I ended up buying it from Top Speed Pro for $240 direct. I'll post again when I get it installed.

What's the diameter of the midpipe? Is it about 3 inches?

No, it's roughly 2.25" ID (inside diameter).

According to TSP: 60mm Piping / Dual 89mm Resonators

Wondering how the sound compares to the Megan Exhaust. I have the M2 Performance YPipe with Megan mid and Megan Muffler and it is really REALLY loud. My wife refuses to be in the car with me since I put it on.

Might be time for a change for me. Any thoughts on sound people? Louder or quieter than Megan?

Why are you guys spending money on 2.25" piping exhaust? Isn't that stock diameter?

After the y-pipe the piping makes no difference in performance other than sound. The 2.25" piping is better for performance unless you're boosted.

I removed the stock exhaust today. It wasn't difficult to figure out but it was hard work. The bolts were corroded/rusted on there pretty good. One was particularly difficult and I ended up soaking it multiple times and kicked it to get it started. Getting the muffler free from the rubber grommets was also tricky. Again, penetrating lube is your friend. I used a pipe wrench to get the hangers started then worked them out by hand.

The car was backed up on rhino ramps. I feel safer working with ramps than jack stands, if possible. Here are some pics.
