haha, i haven't seen that stock mid pipe in so long....amazing weight loss for our cars pulling that off

Yeah, that thing was heavy!

Hopefully, I'll have time to finish the job tomorrow.

Noob question: Does anyone know if the orientation of the metal gaskets matters? On each, one side is flat, the other is a little rounded around the edge.

Yes! I installed it this morning. Much easier than removing the old one. The sound is very nice. It's louder but not obnoxious by any means. I'll post more pics and a video later so you can hear it and decide for yourself.
