So I was at a parts store earlier and I asked the front desk for a part number on a PCV valve and he looked it up on his computer and said "are you sure your car even has one?". He showed me his search results on his computer and even his after market companies didn't even have a PCV valve for my car. Then I told him what was going on in my plenum and he said maybe my plenum was leaking

This reminds me of when I went to a Nissan dealership a few months back to get a tranny dip stick and I told the parts guy the G's don't come with one and have a cap on where the dipstick should be but I can get one from a 350z and it will fit. Then he searches his computer and shows me the layout of the 350z's engine bay and it shows the 350z just have a cap where the dipstick should be too....

Are the Canadian cars different from the US cars or something wth is going on.....

Reminds me of the time I went to buy belts at my local Nissan and told the guy I had a 2003 with the mechanical fan and he asked me if I had installed it myself...

You literally slide off the top hose clamp, wiggle the hose off, take a 23mm socket (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) and remove the PCV.

Remove the old ring gasket and reuse it, or slide on the new one (if you get the OEM one from Nissan, make sure to order it as well since it is a separate item now) and torque it down to 22" inch/lbs.Then push the hose back on and slide the clamp back down to where it was and you're done.

Honestly shouldn't take you more than 10-15 mins to complete.
