MD Basic Plenum spacer gasket

I have a chance to buy a used MD Basic Plenum spacer

the seller is local to me and comes with all the install hardware

but he did mention that the "black gasket" doesnt come with it due to him selling it with the MREV manifold

here's a PIC http://www.motordyneengineering.com/...pID=41&image=0

its the gasket underneath the spacer

my question is do I need that black gasket? Can I just use the OEM for the plenum? could I use a gasket maker?

any help would be appreciated

cheers

The black gasket is the OEM gasket and it's metal. You can use it or do without it when you install the spacer. I kept mine in case I ever went back to stock because I didn't want to buy a new one.
