New Owner 2005 6MT

I waited 4 months and finally picked up my 2005 Sedan 6MT (Midnight Blue/Black). I love this car. This is a sports car disguised as a sedan. It met all of my expectations and more. I'll post pictures later this week when we get some sunny weather.

Being a former BMW (850ci) and Porsche owner (84 Carerra) this has to be one of the most fun cars I've owned. I used to own a 92 Taurus 5-speed SHO will lots of mods, and this car brings back some of those fun memories. Besides an 04 M5, I don't many more sedans that can offer this much fun with a manual transmission. And the changes on the 05 are exactly what this car needed to make it the perfect sports sedan.

One thing though, I am surprised how the media seems to have completely ignored this car.

I didn't think twilight or midnight blue came with Black (graphite). Is it different in Canada or did you apecial order it? I have an 05 6 spd sedan on order and can't wait.

Yes in Canada you can get graphite interior with twilight blue on the 05 sedans. As a matter of fact you can get graphite with every color but serengeti sand in the sedans.

Did the paper work on a 2005 6MT Sedan w/prem pgk today, it just came off the truck and needed 3 hours of prep work before I could take it home. So, I'm picking it up Monday at lunch, I'll probably take the rest of the day off and just drive around.

I went in to the dealer thinking coupe all the way, but I need the extra head room and the practicallity of a real trunk and back seat sold me on the sedan. The stealth factor is pretty cool also. The same engine spec's as the coupe, kick butt, hi performance and rear wheel drive handling in a great looking luxury car at a good price.

This car is a blast to drive, the salesman was cool and he suggested I "see what she'll do" during the road test. That's not the car I bought - mine I'm going to baby - until 1,000 miles.

I didn't get the chance to disable the VDC during the test drive, how much effort is required to break the rear end loose while cornering and kinda swing/slide around a turn.

Deadstroke, when I test drove an X the salesman insisted I turn off the VDC and do a few donuts in corner of an empty parking lot... The rear end came around quite well. Enjoy!
