Y Pipes

I have been looking online for the past hour or so and have gotten different answers with basically every search

My problem is that I am looking for the most efficient y pipe to work with my exhaust
I have ART Pipes with a Tanabe Medallion Exhaust, the last piece I need is a y pipe
The ART Pipes have a 2.25 inlet and 2.5 outlet
The Tanabe Exhaust has a 2.75 inlet on the midpipe

I have not been able to find a full 2.5in y pipe
They all either have 2.25inlets and 2.5outlets or 2.5inlets and 3.0outlets
Even the tanabe y pipe doesnt have a 2.5 inlet it is 2.36

Is it really a big deal to to go from a 3inch outlet on the y pipe to 2.75 inch inlet on my midpipe?
Same question goes for the art pipe exit to the y pipe inlet

Thanks for any help I am sort of stumped on this one

I don't think it's a big deal. I had berk hfc with stock exhaust and that .25 diameter difference didn't affect anything. Your best bet is to try your best to get the diameter closest as possible. In your case, 2.5 in and 3 in out should be perfect since there isn't a 2.5 inch y pipe.
