ill be driving on freeway and RPM drops to zero , and eventully RPM goes back up.
When I'm driving on the street , RPM drops to zero and car turns off. It will restart after 3 - 4 tries . What could be causing this? fuel pump?

Do you get any code? Maybe you camshaft or crank sensor are going out. Pull the codes if thr check engine light is on

 

Go to the dealership. You can request a courtesy check (free). Don't let them charge you for this . We are shooting into the dark here trying to help you.

 

Crank shaft sensor maybe? Don't know without knowing what codes its throwing.
