A/C Running Rough When Turn On

When I turn on the A/C I notice it’s running rough and you can feel the vibrations. After it runs for maybe a minute the vibrations stops and the A/C blows cold air. Since I live in Colorado I don’t use the A/C all winter. Any idea what’s wrong? Do I need to add freeon?

Mine does this too. It's always done this since new. Feels rough on engagement when it hasn't been used in some time

I don’t remember mine doing it. Does your start up rough after not working for couple hours?

I can definitely hear and feel the compressor when it first engages. It's not anything that would cause the engine to run rough, but the engagement and first 10-15 seconds feels a little "coarse" to me. It usually gets smooth after that.
