Starting and Turning the engine off
Some people say that it's bad to start the engine and then turning it off after only a short period of time (seconds range). Something to do with flooding the engine. Anyone have thoughts on this?

It's happened to my wife's eclipse a few times. Usually associated with my doing maintenance on it moving it in and out of the garage. When she goes to drive it it wont start...And no matter how many times I tell her to hold the accelerator to the floor when it happens she always forgets. As far as it being bad for the engine? I dont see a big deal unless you do it alot.
