minor accident

Hi fellas,

How much do u guys think it will cost to repair this damage? Crack grille, hood is scratch and bumper. I don't know if the bumper will need to be replace. What happen was a guy in a nissan hardbody without a rear bumper backed into my G.

Ouch! I always try to avoid parking in back of suv/pickups whenever possible. Sorry to hear that.

My guess is about $500 for replacement parts and paint work!

Sorry to hear that. Will you have the whole hood painted or just blended in a few inches on bottom? How is it that you avg. 1 post per 17 months?

Just curious, didn't the other guy have insurance?

Holy smoke, I went for an estimate this morning and it gonna cost in the high 900.

Texan1, I have been very busy for the last couple of years. This site has change quiet a bit since I last stopped by.

Cru, the other guy do have insurance but I don't know if he have full coverage.

you can find a used grill for around 50 bucks, you can get the bumper sanded down and repainted for about 200-300 and same with the hood 200-300 You should not be spending more than 600 in total costs (and thats too high)

He shouldn't be spending anything. It wasn't his fault. The other guy should be paying, either through his insurance or out of his pocket.

As long as the other guy is insured you shouldn't have any problems. Full coverage is just to cover yourself.
