Hi All, I've been looking all over the net but so far have come up empty handed. I'm being plagued by the manual-matic shifter issue. I can switch it over to M and sometimes it works and other times it will switch back over to Drive. I can't use manual again until I restart the car.
I have tried finding component info for the switches and such on the shifter assembly but come up empty handed. I don't want to shell out 600 bucks for a new shifter assy if the existing one can be fixed. I'm very good with electronics but I haven't torn it apart yet to investigate further.
I did find a couple shifter on ebay but I'm not sure if that one will fit my sedan. I am considering getting a used one but don't want to end up in the same boat I'm in today.

Does anyone have any suggestions or know if a coupe shifter will fit in a sedan of the same year? I'd really appreciate any help. This really bugs me that I can't use M when I would like to.
