Buying G35x for Fiance

Hey guys,
Been a lurker here for a while. Always thinking about trading my Evo for a G35 coupe, but never really comiong to grips with getting rid of the Evo (love it too much!). The G makes my Evo feel so rudementary... but it just doesn't handle like a go-kart (like the Evo does) or go quite as fast. Fiance said no to her having a coupe, but I had to have a G of some kind, though, so...

Next best thing was to buy a sedan for the fiance! We're picking it up on Monday. I'm so excited!

It's an 04 Twilight Blue on Willow G35x with all the options except satellite radio (didn't want it!) and no spoiler/aero kit (is it even available on a G35x?). I was lucky they still had it. I wanted the aero kit, but at least it had Navigation. Final price was $34,000 plus T+T. Sticker was $38070, so I am happy. I am sure other people are getting better deals on the 04s than I got, but I felt I pulled teeth as far as I wanted to go, especially considering it has all the options I wanted. I just wish they made a 6-speed AWD!

I will post pics after I pick it up!

Congrats! Great choice. You've got a lucky fiancee.

Well, she may not handle like the Evo but she sure as hell looks better. That Evo is one mother of a fugly car (IMHO). Sorry, no insults intended. But you will be very happy with the G and, the recling rear seats may add some spice to your life! (LOL)
Good luck with the car, the back seat and... the fiance!

Yeah, the Evo is not the best looker.... I have gotten used to it, though. After finding out how the Evo drove, I got over the looks rrrrrrreeal quick.

But, the G just felt so much more refined. It truly felt luxury to me. Not quite my old man's Benz, but definitely nice. And, it was still quick, and handles well. It doesn't feel like a boat, even though it's huge! It'll be an awesome car to borrow from her. When she's done with it, I know I won't mind taking it under my wing.
