Sorry if this is old news, but... Came home and my wife told me the battery must be dead because she couldn't start my car - she was going to take it to get tires changed. I try it, and the starter works fine, lights, radio are good and battery is a year old, but it won't start. I was thinking it must be a problem with fuel delivery. Turns out she had tried to start it with a valet key and the antitheft locked down the car. I just locked and unlocked with my fob and it started up just fine! Didn't know the cutoff worked at this level.

Its rather touchy.
In the manual they talk about this issue and what to do to reset the counter.

Last winter on the coldest day of the year, wife's car wouldn't start (battery too weak) so I went to buy some booster wires, G35 hestitated, but started. Went to the store, when getting back in the G, I released the starter too fast and then it would turn over and not start, I was so pissed ! Waited couple minutes and it started again just fine, sometmes I hate all the electronics -.-
