mass air flow sensor question
I've searched the forum and google but I cant find the answer to my question,
I just recently bought a cai from a member on here but I didnt know g35 had different shape sensors until I tries to install my cai, my question is if there is a way to switch into the rectangular one? Sorry if this has already been answered.

I personally have never seen a round one before, but from what I gathered from searching Type I cars (5AT sedans up to about ~350000 or VIN serial) are round maf base, all others are rectangular, which by the way is identical among all g35's, 350z's, and even the 5.6 V8 Nissan Titans.
^ Sorry, I took "switch into the rectangular one" as you need the rectangular one. I don't know what to tell you. I can't find/source a round MAF plate...

Closest thing I found and it's from Jay's racing and is labeled as "Nissan MAF adapter"... It's round... Lol! Best I got. Heres the link and a pic:

You can try calling UpRev, Z1, CZP, etc... and see if they can help or at least point you in the right direction. If not I'm not sure what else to do as the cost might outweigh the worth of the used intake.
