High rpm.. no acceleration problem
#17
More or less, I've done some researching and found mostly that it's an ECU problem and shortages... I mentioned that it all started happening the day AFTER i plugged in a ELM327 code reader out of curiosity and may have plugged it in "too hard...?". I'm hoping that I broke a connection because of this. If that's the case, I'm atleast able to pinpoint the problem. I'll check it out tomorrow since it's getting late and let everyone know.
I'm also referring to this post since she is having the exact symptoms as I am having. INCLUDING the no display when in park, drive, on the dash..etc.

Bump... I checked the radio, and it looks all fine to me. Can someone assist me in finding the ground wires ? Perhaps one is disconnected. Problem not solved still.
Edit--
I found a disconnected ground wire underneath the car by the exhaust tail. I did a orbital radius around the area with the broken ground cable (it's a flat one) and doesn't seem to connect anywhere... has to be a spot, but I cannot find it. I'm uploading some images. Can someone please assist me?
I've uploaded images of the area and engine bay if someone can help me circle some grounding wires.
Also, I'm searching for the AT. Cont fuse.... not sure where the third fuse box is located @ since someone else had theirs blown a few times

edit 2----
I've located the third fuse box... is there a diagram for this thing?
EDIT 3----
I found the culprit. Time to start pinpointing!

There was that sneaky darn hidden fuse box behind the battery compartment. It was my second time looking back there and finally found it.
From there, the top left corner fuse (10A) is the AT. Cont fuse. It's blown! (YAY?)
Replaced it with the spare one and fair enough, the car actually starts up now.
SECOND PROBLEM
It the car rolled a few times before starting up, so i'm assuming it's having problems starting... i stepped on the gas pedal to give it a bit of umpf and sure enough, it started.
SECOND PROBLEM SYMPTOMS:
a bit of white smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe. It's cold, i get it.. it'll be a bit white. But this was not the typical hot/cold white. it was white.. white.
ASSUMPTIONS??
I'm assuming perhaps a blown gasket? I still have not found why the fuse was blown yet either. (disconnected ground? short somewhere? perhaps that one image earlier from above.)
so i'm hoping someone would shed some light since i've gotten this far.
