x in the snow

We got 6inches in NJ today.I like the awd no.problem just dont see the need for a slip light! I have a audi a6 quattro too. Between the two audi's awd system is better! They both are good in snow audi awd just locks better with no fishtail movement.Audi's awd is fulltime.I still like my G35X better! The hankook concept v2 all season are very good in snow!

Had fun with mine this AM. Just put new tires on last week and they hook very well. Did a couple AWD donuts too this AM

I don't get any fishtail with my car though, only if i turn the VDC off. Hooks pretty well even if i floor it from a stop in the snow.

I have yet to get this car stuck, so overall i'm satisfied

I had fun too.l just got a little movement to the side fishtail was best way to describe it. They are great in the snow! And lots of fun driving in it! Hit the gas and go straight. Stopping is the hardest part! Have to use your head when to play n b safe!

Just pushed my friends out of his parking lot because he didn't have his snow tires on.

We got about 6 inches of snow and he was on shitty Falken all seasons. Snow fell and then it got really cold and the snow turned rock sold. Car just sank. Took 3 people and a lot of coaxing of the gas pedal to get it out. Almost had to get a tow strap and hook it up to the BMW.

I thought so too then, a few years back we had that mid-west blizzard. 10inches in like 24 hours. It was more ground clearance then anything.

That's true too, and part of the reason I've never lowered the car. I wouldn't go blasting through 24" of unplowed snow. At that point, you are more pushing through the snow than riding over it.

I've gone through plenty of snow deep enough to be pushed aside to leave two tire tracks and a flat area in the center where the car leveled the snow. Only time i've blasted through deeper snow is when we get that light powder-snow.

Just had 12" two days ago, and 3-6" forecast tonight. I'm happy

Yup, i've done the same in my alley. I'm always first one in and out in the mornings.

Also that day i got stuck, I also saw a police Tahoe or Trailblazer get stuck about 1/2 block in front me thats when i knew i was doomed. He had traction problems.

My G loves snow. And I have about 2" clearance from my engine cover.

^Winter tires with AWD and lowered? Classy lol.

Not much stops the Gs when they are AWD with winter tires. You would need a LOT of snow for ground clearance to become an issue on stock suspension if you have winter tires. My friends 04 AWD with Blizzaks would go through snow as deep as the hood haha. The front end grew a nose.

Having that lower engine shield does come in handy in the winter
