Gas mileage normal or bad for g35x

Hi
I am new to this page and also new to the infinti world. I was a honda lover till i sat in my buddies g35 coupe and fell in love with it.

I bought a 2005 infinti g35x sedan a couple days ago and it has a 155k on it. I was wondering if its common for these cars to drink like my truck when I had it or is there something i can do to improve the gas mileage?

So far i got 130kms and im almost at half tank

I live in Canada and where I am theres alot of snow and im not sure if having the snow button on all the time is the cause or not.

You're lucky. Be glad you didn't buy the '06x. It was the absolute lowest government rating of any G ever. Which I knew when I bought it. Still gets better mileage than my preceeding baby Nissan pick-'em-up trucks. So it's just the difference in price for premium grade instead of regular.

lt drinks gas, but to see if its normal you need to calculate your mileage.

I have a 2006 G35x sedan. I live in Canada as well, I average about 14L/100km. Avg Speed of about 120-140 km/h on highway and 60-70 km/h on local.I've been commuting the same distance everyday since i've had the car, about 4 years and the results have been consistant.I dont keep the snow button on all the time, but I have a heavy foot and usually shift (manual mode) between 3-4k RPM.

For.......

Other than the brake system and addition of Bluetooth, there is virtually no mechanical difference between an 06X and 05x

my G used to average about 330km on a full tank, in the winters and about 520km in the summer. (75 liter tank)
In contrast a my 2010 civic does 350km on a full tank of gas in winter (50 liter tank).

Dunno. I just remember seeing a comparative table year by year listing coupes, sedans, and AWDs and the 2006x was the lowest in the group by 1mpg either highway or city, don't remember which. But a quick google look seems to support what you rightly point out, and I didn't find such a table, so maybe I dreamed it.

I have an 05x I get 25mpg. It gets better mpg than my ranger 4x4.I get close to 500 miles per full tank.My x was well.maintained by the orig owner. I guess it all matters how the car was maintained.I got all the service records since car was new.

I noticed last week we had 4 degrees all day.I let my car warm up for 5 mins before I got in.It killed the mpg I guess its like city driving. Stop n go kills the mpg. The G 35 -37 are such nice cars you take the bad for its good!

That's definitely not normal. I have a '05 G35x and I can easily get over 500km a tank with city driving, 600km with highway and somewhere in between with mixed driving.
