Unhappy Z-Tube install problem?

Just installed the polished z-tube, and have a question. After the install I reset my ecu. Now after you turn the car off it makes a high pitched whistle sound. This whistle noise lasts for about 5-7 sec. I noticed during the install that I have alot of extra tubing from my PCV. Is the sound coming from that? Do I need to trim it so that the hose is not kinked? Please help me find this noise problem. Has anyone else had this happen after a z-tube install?

I wouldn't cut anything. I suggest just working the tubing back towards the firewall and making sure it doesn't kink. That's what I did with mine. Then check and make sure your clamps are tight.

Good Luck!

The whistle could be anywhere the new tube or old hoses mate up. Double check everything to make sure there are no air leaks.

does a properly intalled z tube still produce a whistle or hiss sound like you see with cold air intakes?

No, it makes more of a "roooom-rooooom" noise.
