Spare tire swap to 07 couple w/19s

Hi all,

Can a spare tire from an 05 sedan w/17s fit on an 07 coupe w/ the sport package? If not the spare, will the 17 OEM wheel fit on the coupe?

My wife is stuck at Americ's tire with a bent wheel and the wrong spare (used car). I have the 05 sedan and hope we can swap wheels to get her home and find a replacement elsewhere.

Thanks in advance.

I'm fairly sure they all have the same lug pattern. If not, the company wasted a lot of money on extra engineering and production costs.

It'll get you home, dude.

Thank you for your reply. I was actually concerned with the possible larger brake package on the sport coupe. They are not the Brembos that came on the prior year sport packages, but I believe they MA be larger than those on a base model.

I take it your 05 sedan is an AWD model?

07 coupe brakes are the same as the 05-06 sedan. Only the 05 AWD got the smaller brakes from 2003-2004. In 2006,all the sedans got the same brakes....same as the coupe.

Anyway, besides all that. Yes, the 17" wheel from your 05 sedan will bolt on the coupe and physically fit.

However, where you put it matters since the overall diameter may not be the same between a 215/55/17 and the coupe's wheel. If you are putting it on the front, you should be OK.

If putting it on the rear....is it a coupe with the limited slip? This might cause an issue.

How far of a drive is it?
