Anyway to get a night time shot of the beam pattern? Kinda curious to see how clean of a cutoff it has.

I dont love them, but if they put alot of light on the road I might go for them. However, I doubt they will come anywhere close to a oem projector. Op, where are night and road pics?

Night shots coming. Let me say they are way brighter than stock. I think the increased brightness is a result of the ballasts. The size of the aftermarket ballast alone compared to the oem is significant. Paired with the projector on the lowbeam and it's much brighter. Also I have HID high beams. I had to install another set of ballasts for those as well. Stock high beams are not HID oem keep in mind. These are almost obnoxiously bright. Finding a place for 4 ballasts wasn't easy up there.

And one more thing, both low beam and high beam lights are fully adjustable.

^^ I think you mean brighter than completely hazed out 10 year old lights with bulbs past their lifespan. Not brighter than stock. Big difference.

Actually no this was a comparison to my buddy's 2005 sedan with HIDs. Not my old foggy headlights. And yes they were still much brighter. Trust me, it has to do with the aftermarket ballasts. The aftermarket ballasts are much better. I took both of them apart and the build quality and material used in the aftermarket ballasts are much better than oem. The size difference alone is significant. Infiniti oem ballast are notoriously small so they could fit them installed on the headlight housing. You're going to suffer performance when cramming all those electrical components in a tiny package. Let me get you some pics so you all can see.

Plus why have HiD low beams and not high beams. Not sure why infiniti did this. Kinda dumb, either go all the way or don't do it all. I'm sure they didn't provide hid high beams because of cost and enough space for a bigger or separate ballast. Hid high beams are sick. They can light up Ebbets field!

So 9 year old lights, instead of 10 year old lights. Much better.

There is no way your ebay aftermarket ballasts are better than the OEM Phillips ballasts. If you had ever gone on any retrofit forum you would know how widely praised the Phillips ballasts are. The simple fact you are claiming you ebay ballasts are better makes it abundanly clear you are full of canine excrement.

They didnt bother with HID high beams, because average person very rarely uses high beams.

woa there buddy, someone is a little bitter. They probably appear brighter because of the bulb (which appear to be 5k). OP, Dont listen to this guy's negativity. He is probably bitter old man that is mad at his own life. So, he takes it out on people that know less than him online.

OP, most aftermarket bulbs higher than 4300k (color intensity) appear brighter, but they arent. If you want the most lumen output, I would go with the phillips 85122+ bulbs or the Osram CBI 5500k if you want a more white-ish/ slight blue color. These bulbs have the highest lumen output (see more on the road) since the last time i checked, which was about a year ago. Also, the size of the ballast shouldnt matter. Check the wattage output. Since they are aftermarket headlamps, I would stick to 35w.
