Can anyone identify this piece (pics included)

Hello everyone, i've been lurking on this site for over a year now. Awesome source of info! A small plastic piece that covers my weather stripping on the rear door of my 03 sedan has come off, and its causing my weather stripping to come off as well.

I've posted pics with the piece on the other door, and pics without. I have looked everywhere, including very in depth parts diagrams and i still cant find what the darn piece is so i can purchase one.

Any input on wear to find this part is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!!

Or it may be part of the weatherstripping here?

Sounds like I'm not the only one who isn't having this issue. I'm on the verge of trying an adhesive of some kind out of desperation haha.

05_SkylineSedan, i will check out those links! Thanks so much for sending that; this has been like trying to find a needle in a haystack

Yea I have the same issue on my rear drivers door. I just put a couple dabs of PL premium adhesive. Not too much otherwise if you ever have to remove it......well...you will never be able to remove it haha.
