BROKEN Rear Strut Tower Bolt
Sooooo..plain and simple. One of the rear top strut tower bolts broke. My strut is pretty much holding onto 1 bolt at the top... How can this be fixed? Before taking it to the shop. And if i do take it to the shop, estimated cost???
If I remember correctly I think they are welded to the chassis. I had something similar on my Volvo except the nuts were welded into place. You'd probably have to break/sand down the original bolt and then drill through it. Then just put a new bolt in place from the top. Here is a DIY someone did:

I would imagine an hour or two of labor, but I have no clue what a place would charge for that.
