Decent radiator for my 04 sedan?

I got a Denso that I just installed yesterday and the supports for the cooling fan don't line up and they are too small and the wrong shape for the fan's tabs to fit. The stock radiator had two slots about an inch long for the tabs on the fan. The fan is is attached by the two screws at the top on each end, but it has no support on the bottom. Anybody done this? Did your fan fall out on the interstate? Here are some pics.

It's not ideal to keep it like that. I can't tell by the pictures, is there any possibility of trimming the plastic supports on the fans so they fit in the smaller mating features of the new radiator? Are the fans flush with the radiator right now? Make sure they are. If they are and there is no chance of getting the lower supports to work you should be alright assuming you get enough threads engaged.

Nah the supports on the radiator are not even the same distance from each other as the distance between the corresponding tabs on the fans. And neither lines up. You may be able to tell that the ones on the passenger side ALMOST line up, but no dice. The ones on the driver side are are not even close. And the fans aren't quite flush toward the bottom, but they seem to cycle on and off over a long time of engine idling as they did before. I guess I may just find some kind of clips or clamps to hold the radiator and the fans together and call it a day. Sigh.
