I'm gonna go check it out on the 17th at the dealership in Costa Mesa. It's the M45 Launch Party. There's 3 dealerships doing it. Tustin, Costa Mesa, and South Bay. I don't think I'll be trading mine in though as the M45 doesn't seem to offer much more as far as interior space, trunk space, etc. And it's quite expensive with some of the options I've been configuring. At $55K+ I'm not sure I would get it, and on top of that I refuse to get any new release vehicles. Hence my waiting until 05 to get the G.

I've had my G35 for 2 weeks now and I'm already gonna order a M35 Sport for August delivery! Test drove it yesterday, wasn't too impressed, but it sure looks nice and it's a perfect size for me.

The M is definitely a very nice car and I would not mind having one for a daily driver, but just not at this point in my life. Very cool technology, nice styling on the outside although not revolutionary, great fit and finish on the interior, and what looks to be good performance. Having said that I am only 25 and to me this is definitely more of a 30+ car. I need something with more sport that can function for me as a fun, comfortable daily driver and for me to be able to flog it around on the track a few times a year. The G being a pretty close cousin of the Z33 allows me to do that. The new M would not fit that role so well being that it is definitely more on the luxo side than the sport side and that I'm assuming the M would defintely be heavier than G from it's bigger dimesnsions and added creature comforts. I mean my G is already a fat pig at ~3,400 lbs. So in a nutshell I would definitely consider selling my G for the M if all I wanted was a nice daily driver.

Yeh, from pics, I love the M...........but my wife has her eyes set on the E500. Both cars are great and the E class is only about $5000 more than the fully equipped M45. Gotta test drive the M first...........

This is too funny. Here I am at 36 thinking: "Yeah the M is the logical next step for me when I'm like 45!" I guess it's all relative to your age.

I kind of see the G35 coupe for the 20's, G35 sedan for the 30's, M35/45 for the 40's, and the Q for when I'm in my 50's.

Oh No!!!! I hope my wife and I didn't get the wrong car, we are in our mid 50's. I don't know if she will let me run out and trade it for an M45 or a Q

Hahaha... that's too funny. Looks like you've got the rest of your life plotted out for you according to an Infiniti timeline.

It is funny how it worked out that way . . . any chance Infiniti marketing thought this up too? Of course, look at BMW marketing: 3 Series, you pay in the $30K range, 5 Series, you pay in the $50K range, 7 Series, you pay in the $70K range.

i went to the costa mesa dealer last night for their M35/45 launch party. I must say the interior is very very nice. The push button start is nice. NAV/DVD is sweet as well. If 2 years from now they work out most of the issues, then I'll definitely "upgrade". The GF liked it as well but we both decided the M35 would be sufficient, M45 is over kill. Too bad can't get the all the tech wizardry with the sport package.

I did get the brochure... they were running low. Some of the standard features blew me away. The options too. What other car gives you voice recognition. And as options, heated/cooled and power reclining rear seats? I was totally blown away by the ammenities in that car.
