Squeeky Brakes

I own a G35 sedan. I have 1000 miles on the car. I have
been noticing that my brakes have been squeeking. I talked
to an Infiniti rep and he said that this is common in high
performance brakes. He also said that Infiniti has issued
a bulletin on this problem. Anyone else have this problem???

Re: Squeeky Brakes

This topic has been covered several times over. If you search the forums for sqeaky or squealing brakes, you should find several threads. Other possible related search phrases would be "brake pads" or "brake dust." Brake dust is another common problem, and sometimes related to the squealing.

Re: Squeeky Brakes

Took my car in yesterday at 10,600 miles for an oil changed and asked about my squeaky brakes. When I got my car back, the dealer said that the front brakes are fine (They did not give me a measurement). But there is a bulletin on the rear brakes. They are going to replace my back brake pads for free, but they are on backorder.

Re: Squeeky Brakes

Interesting on the back brakes. I just had mine in at 10,000 and everything was fine. If they are replaceing the brakes for free something is up. They told be the brakes go as early at 10,000. Hummm
