I have an 06 G35X and my Cig Lighter stopped working out of nowhere. It still illuminates amber. When I plug in my Iphone charger, it doesn't charge!

Any tips?

I have same issue but mines not the fuse.

 

In that case, i would pull the center console trim out and unplug the cig lighter. Test for 12V on the two wires that it was plugged into. If you have it there, chances are the issue lies in the cig lighter. Usually one of the prings sometimes gets bent so that it doesnt make contact correctly.

 

Oops mines an 04 an in the dash. I'll pull it out and take a look, fuse was good it illuminates but doesn't heat. I figured it may be cooked.

 

Updated: i replaced the fuse for the cig lighter and it works. I can finally charge my phone without using the center arm rest
