Check the valve covers - if the gasket is bad, it'll leak oil onto the exhaust manifolds, which will burn and stink like crazy. Also check the exhaust system itself - maybe there's a plastic bag or some other trash melting on it?

Did you make sure there's no plastic bags melted to the exhaust?

A common issue with G35's is the notice of a burning rubber smell, especially in the winter time. It's possible that you are smelling this.

Usually happens when it's cold and snowy and the ABS/TC engages as some point. The cause has never been identified, but this is a complaint that has been ongoing for years with these cars.

I also get the rubber smell when I have the air system on with the arrow going across the car, you smell them tires burning for sure on these salty NY roads. Another thing for the OP, you could have an exhaust leak, does your car sound any louder than before? It could be the fluids leaking from your exhaust they have a really strong smell, jack it up and look by the muffler and see if it is leaking or loose in any way

I would wait until the rest of the bag melts off from heat. You won't smell it if you keep the air on recirculation.

It won't melt off completely, I had to scrape it off of the metal when I had this problem.

Ill just let it burn its good that i found out what it was tho...i think my only other major problem is when im on the freeway goin 70ish my car starts jumping left and right. Like if i were to let the steering wheel go it would jump to the right and start goin right but the really thing i get scared of is when i get into tight intersections on the freeway and my car wants to jump right and left i literally have to hold the sterring wheel so i dont crash only at high speeds tho wat could it be???

Maybe tie rod ends or worn steering rack.

Ive replaced all bushings with ES bushings, replaced all shocks with kybs, all new kyb mounts, new kinetix upper a arms, hotchkis sway bars w/ es bushings, all new wheel bearings, all new rotors and pads. Tie rods, lower ball joints, end links all test out fine.

Well than, thats the majority of the suspension . I don't know if a bad water pump or rack&pinion could cause that reaction. Seems unlikely that multiple calipers are randomly seizing. I'm assuming the alignment is good and there's no lights on the dash when it happens? AWD?

Yeah, im awd. I doubt a water pump would be the cause. Calipers arent seized, im sure i would have noticed that during my brake job. No lights are on the dash. Im probably just due for a GOOD alignment. My last one didnt seem to fix much.
