Hey guys, I bought this car about a year ago with 108k on it and it works fine, the only problem is after i changed the coolant from the car, the radiator fan wont stop, I bleeded out the coolant system already, heater and AC works fine but for some reason the fan turns on and doesnt stop, I looked through threads already but i cant seem to find the answer. Please help me out! Thank you

 

Do you have a scanner that you can hook up and display live data? I'm curious to what your coolant temp is now?

Trying to determine if fan is on due to electrical fault, or on due to your engine running hot and needing it

 

No I do not, My coolant temp is fine and it sits below the middle on the gauge, when i drive for around 5-10 min it kicks in for no reason

 

The dash gauge is more of an idiot light and not very accurate in terms of deciphering actual engine temp.

If you changed coolant, and now the fan comes on and won't turn off, i would suspect high engine temps, but would need to hook up a scanner to confirm.

 

Will take it to a auto shop to scan it, I'll keep updates.
