Mevotech lower control arms?

Anyone have any experience with Mevotech front forward and rear (compression rod) control arms? I can get both sets for each side readily from Mevotech online, and other than OEM, that's the only part I can consistently find for my AWD sedan. Bonus, all 4 parts would only run about $300. At 180,000 miles, I just want to get rid of a lot of the NVH, not looking to stiffen it up too much with poly bushings. Also, plug and play is a lot less work...

Cool, thanks. At this point, I'm thinking I'd buy them if you'd told me they're awful, but 5K and no complaints puts them well over my standard for making this purchase.

Thanks.

Just checked there to see if they carried the same SKU or part number as Carid.com, and they do not. I ordered a compression rod from there a couple of years ago, and they stated during a call I made to them that it was definitely for the AWD. It arrived, and lo and behold it was for the RWD only (RWD CR is aluminum cast, and the AWD is solid painted steel and a slightly different shape to avoid the front axle.

I guess this is the slight premium us AWD owners have to pay...

So, wait, just to confirm, the CARID link is good or bad or have yet to try it? I'm out hunting for the lower control arms as well.

Thank!

I ordered comp rods and LCAs for both sides of car last night for $280including shipping, and at least they have charged me. I guess I'll get either a shipping number or a customer service call and refund on Monday! But, these parts seem to be pretty new for the AWD-NOBODY had them just a year ago other than dealer, so chances are good they are in stock.

I would consider purchasing either a WRX or a dirtbike. When I need safe, comfortable, reliable, and business-appropriate transportation, I can't honestly consider a WRX in that decision process!

Also I thought their website was very newly developed, at least according to the graphics appearance, making me think it's managed well.

There was a time I definitely wanted a WRX. That time is now gone and forgotten.

O'Reilly now has G35X control arms with all bushings too. I believe these may actually be Mevotech rebranded to Import Direct: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...yword=6cb30332

The warehouse in my town actually had them on hand! but, for $152 each....

I just got shipping confirmation on all four pieces - both compression rods and both front lower control arms. I will update with my impressions pre-and post-install.

Nice thing is that they come with the ball joint/stud for the anti-sway bar end link mounts pre-installed, too, although I've always had to unbolt that whole ball joint assembly and string the end link through the hole in the control arm, basically removing it all as one piece. I don't even see much salt, but have never been able to get those two pieces apart when replacing end links.
