Sounds like I have a flat but don't

I've been driving around for almost 2 weeks with what sounds like a loud clicking or slapping sound on my front right side tire. When I slow down it sounds flat and you can hear it pretty well in the car as well. Sometimes feels bumpy. Any advice? I've checked for rocks lol.

Is the tire worn or nearing the end of it's lifespan? Can you rotate it to another side and verify the sound moves with the tire?

Have you removed the wheel and inspected it carefully or are you doing this on the car?

Actually just took the tire off, it's in good shape. The breaks are bad though and you can hear slight grinding when you spin it. You think that could be causing the flat tire sound?? Thanks

Easiest way to tell is to swap the tire to the other side and go for a quick drive. If the sound stays on the same side, then it's probably a brake issue.

Either way, if your brakes are making weird noises, you probably want to check them out anyway

What about wheel bearings? We tried to move the tire around but there was no play anywhere, so I have no idea. We just went to air up the tires and it's getting worse. Sounds from inside the car like a flat but on the outside like a crunching sound. There's no vibration in the steering wheel or bottom. No clue.

First things first.

Swap side. Sound moves...it's the tire. Sound stays where it is, it's not the tire. Time to look into the brakes and bearings.

Noisy wheel bearings don't necessarily move. I replaced 3 front wheel bearings. None had any wiggle to them, but all were plenty noisy
