Hard Shift from 1 to 2 Gear On Cold Start

My car shift hard from 1 to 2 gear for the first couple shifts when the car is cold. I don’t have the common complaint I found about hard shift from 2 to 3 gear.

I drain and fill the tranny every 12k miles and the fluid looks clean and in the correct level. I use only Nissan tranny fluid that I buy from the dealer. Car have 110k but the dealer installed new tranny at 65k.

Is it because the car idle high until the engine warms up? During winter I let the car idle for minute and half so the rpm will drop to 1100 before I start driving.

take a few more minutes and let it drop to its normal idle before driving in the cold
And then see how it responds

Will do.
I don't let it idle for such a long time because i read it's not good for the engine, creates build up.

Same thing happens to me as well, although I wouldnt say it's neckbreaking hard.
Just something that I would notice to be slightly off

I agree it's not neck breaking hard but definitely doesn't feel right.
