^ Damn that sounds like a great deal.

I love my Stillen Gen 2, but that's at least double what you want to spend. I needed to get a new mid-pipe and axle back anyway since the gasket between the 2 rusted (I guess its somewhat common) so I figured I'd get one I like. Plus it was still cheaper then the dealer putting back OEM lol.

I don't remember if its dual or not, but I think the Megan Racing one is near $500.

The axleback is basically just the muffler with the pipe going into the mid right? I found them online for quite a bit :|

And to OP. A lot of these answers won't apply because people are overlooking that you have a SEDAN. The whole shitstorm in the middle of the thread is actually pointless because it won't even fit our cars

Yes, it keeps the OEM mid-pipe and attaches just south of the back axle. It has a great throaty sound, just a bit of drone at highway speeds, but not annoying. When you romp down on it, it screams, but not in a "fart can" kind of way.

I have an HKS rear section on my 05 sedan. It sounds great with slight drone at highway speeds going uphill. I love the way it sounds and paid full price in 08 or so.

@ Spartan First off he is in the sedan section, so I think most of the posters realized it, but i suppose isnt too horrible to mention again.

Either way, the ones i mentioned fit the sedan and I believe the Stillen is the only dual exhaust that fits the AWD models (or was if something new came out). If i recall the RWD sedan might have a few extra choices since it doesnt have the extra differential or transfer case... i always forget which part it is.

From what I remember, the only factory made true duals for the sedan are stillen and borla. Everything else is single pipe exhaust or custom dual.

For $500 you could put together a nice custom exhaust that will sound very good. I purchased a coupe midpipe used from someone on this forum for about $50. The coupe midpipe has a small resonator in the middle that you can cut out and weld a performance type muffler in it's place. I personally cut out the stock resonator and welded in a Moroso spiral race muffler. Then get rid of the stock muffler and replace it with a 2-1/2" tubing out the back of the car. You can even get a nice tip for another $50.

Used coupe mid-pipe -$50
Muffler to replace stock resonator in coupe mid-pipe - $75
2-1/2" exhaust tubing to replace stock muffler - $30
Flange for tubing to coupe mid pipe connection - $10
Assorted hangers and gaskets - $30
Tailpipe tip - $50
If you need a muffler shop to weld together/construct and install ~$175-200

This is basically what I have and it sounds fantastic, pretty quiet until I get on it and no drone. However I still have the stock cats and that is why I think I have no drone. If you have stock cats

You also stated "dual" exhaust. It's been done, but it's hard to get a pipe on both sides of the car. That's why most, is not all, aftermarket systems have both tips out the drivers side.
