2006 sedan. Over the last six months I get a p0456 code at a half tank or less. After I fill up code goes away and returns after reaching half tank.

Any one have similar issues or ideas?

No, but did you replace the gas cap?

I would be hesitant to throw any other solenoids at it, because it is just a small leak not a gross leak detected. Possibly one of the evap canister tubes worked its way loose. Might have to have it fogged, or pick up a gas cap with a fitting on it for testing purposes.

The fitting the vent control valve hose attaches to appears to be broken. The previous owner must have reattached it using a tar like substance. It looks like the substance broke down over time making it loose. I wonder if I can get the fitting from the dealer or will I have to reattach in a similar manner.

Ordered white nipple from dealer $2.00. Hope it fixes my P0456 problem.

GL. I would have went for JB weld or something that wouldn't break down from fuel vapors. Thumbs up for doing it the right way lol.
