To blue or not to blue?

To blue or not to blue?
Well,
I have been searching for my new-to-me G and I have been struggling for a few weeks to find what I want:
- premium
- 45-55k miles
- $20k
- Winter
- color of Red/willow or DG/willow
I found one in Blue/willow and I think I like it ok. I previously never would have considered the dark blue color, but this doesn't look too bad. I always associated blue with "mature lady."
Who likes the navy blue?

The Slate and Willow (way rich looking) are very cool. The Dark blue is a scratch and dirt nightmare!! I've found that going w/your first gut instinct is the best, in as much as you'll haunt yourself to death if ya don't. Ya know what I mean.....always wondering if they made the right decision....? Thirty years selling cars has taught me that one is A FACT..! Good Luck ...JBX

My first choice was twilight blue until I saw it in person. Maybe it is just me but this blue looks like it has a little purple in it. I brought my wife for a second opinion and she felt the same way. I don't like the way it looks with the purplish tint. I have seen much better dark blues. Again just my opinion.

Don't do it Homeslice! I had this very same dilemma when I bought my last car....the car had just come out and no dealer in town had any in stock. However, one dealer did have the car I wanted (and it was blue). I had already decided I wanted black, but as stated, there were no black ones in town. I thought the blue was ok and bought it. MISTAKE! I later saw black ones driving down the road and kicked myself for buying the blue! Go with your wants.

My advice is to wait for what you REALLY want. Implusive/spontaneous car buying decisions are deadly. You should never "settle" for something that costs over $5000, let alone $20K+.
Wait and get what you want. Like my Dad always told me, they're not going to stop making these cars tomorrow. Hold your cards and get what you want!

Get silver and be like 78% of the other Sedan drivers out there (at least here in SoCal).
Aside from the fact that the TB looks dirtier than the light colors - faster.
TB looks amazing cleaned up; I get comments constantly (young and old) when my car is cleaned up.
Combined with the Willow interior, the car looks elegant.
To be honest, other than the Carribean Blue, I haven't seen a color on the sedan that I dislike.
