2005 G35 sedan custom magnaflow exhaust
Hi everyone I'm new to this forum just have a question for you all with custom exhaust on your sedans. I came across a guy selling a custom magnaflow exhaust that was on a 2004 sedan. It's a catback system but it's all one piece no individual pieces. He says it was welded to the factory Y pipe on the sedan. I'm just trying to get more info on this system if it's legit or not. Wondering if it will just bolt straight up to the car. I know that it will have to be welded but I plan on getting a new piece welded on so it can be bolted to the y pipe instead of welding it straight to the Y pipe. Here a few pictures tel me what you think about it

The rear hangers will need to be modified, since the bracket was different between '03-'04 and '05-'06. And, I don't see how the front would work at all - it's supposed to be two-into-one at that point to mate up with the Y-pipe. Did the previous owner cut the y-pipe and weld that onto his car?

I would ask for a video of how it sounds since exhaust is all about sound.
From what it looks like, he chopped out the collector at the Y and and converted it into a dual exhaust setup which he welded on.
The muffler area hanger is an easy modification.
The bends look disgusting though. Looks like a crush type bend. I would be surprised if it sounded clean because I can see it causing some turbulence
