Question Halogen Headlight Assembly on HID?

Hi there,

I just recently got into car accident, and was wondering if I could get Halogen headlight assembly for my car? I got stock HID headlights, and was wondering if halogen headlights would work? Is the connection the same? Or I will have to buy conversion kit?

Also, anybody got a link to aftermarket HID/LED headlight assembly (left, right) for around 250$?

Thanks!

First off, what are you driving? Year?

Secondly, the wiring is different between halogen and HID. So even if you bought the headlight housing and bulb, you'd need to source out the harness and socket and splice it in.

As far as I know, there is no conversion kid. Nobody willingly downgrades from HID to halogen.

I ran Kensun Digital AC ballasts and HID's in my last rig. They were great, and only took about 10 seconds to fully warm up. Plus you can get a full kit for about $60 on Amazon.
