If you are courteous and respectful to the officer that pulls you over--you can get off on a warning (for speeding etc). I have had that 4 times in the last 10 years. I have not had a ticket in 5 yrs! I don't think that would work if I were running red lights, speed contesting, or wreckless driving.
As far as officers giving breaks to other officers/firefighters--that is between them--does not concern me--so long as they are not looking the other way wrt driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol or other extreme cases of endangering the public.
No comment on the debadging---Last time I commented on this--Skeleton Cru got a new name/title.
