Need everyones help on my 2005 g35
I got acouple problems with my car. One of my main problems is wen im hitting around 60mph - 65mph my g35 starts shaking crazy then wen i hit the 50s or 70s it stops idk wat it could be but this also connects to my second problem. Wen i hit 65+mph my g35 starts jumping left like if its trying to switch lanes by itself. I have to keep both hands on the steering wheel to keep control of the car becuase it jumps hard. It jumps so hard that sometimes i think people think im drunk driving which im not l, but i need it to stop it jumps left like if front driver wheel isnt attached right. Some say it could be my rack and pinion others say my bushings but i just wanted to see wat u guys think about this? Maybe my tires arnt balanced? Idk
Another thing is i took of my front rotors to check underneath them and now there loose nd dont want to stay on i put them on nd with the littlest tap they go unbalanced especially wen its connected to my caliber there loose and dont stop moving.

I'd check tires/alignment and go about your suspension and make sure everything looks okay and is tightened up, for starters at least. and I'm sorry but what did you mean to say in your second post? you can't get the caliper on the car?
Yea i took of my front rotors was kind of a bi*** had to give it a few smacks but it finally came off nd now wen i put it on it doesnt stay on it fits on but with the littlest tap the rotor gets loose. I have to screw a lugnut to keep the rotor in place. Especially wen im doing my brakes rotor just moves around with everything tightened
Rotors are suppose to be loose. They are floating rotors on these cars. The reason the rotors weren't loose before is because they were seized to the hubs. Hence why you had to give it a few whacks to get them off. The rotors overtime rust behind the surface amd seize to the hubs. The only thing meant to hold the rotors in place without movement is the wheels when they are put back on. You're fine!
As for the shaking at speeds between 60-65 mph, and the drifting steering, I had the same exact issue which lead to a few things for me that solved the problems:
1. Compression rod bushings
2. Lower inner control arm bushings
3. Needed a 4 wheel alignment
4. Brand new tires all around.
After I did all of that my 06 G drove amazing with no shaking or loose drifting steering at high speeds

Yea i was reading online and got alot of the same results saying there ment to be loose. But thats good now i just need answers for my main problems. Bought new tires, did a alignment. Nd still my car jumps at high speed mainly on the freeway. It jumps left and right. I have to have both hands on steering wheel or id loose control the jumps are hard nd shakes wen i hit 65mph.
Yes when i had cracked compression rod bushings and lower control arm bushings, my steering was basically all over the road at high speeds. The shaking also made the car feel like i was driving over brick roads. Definately take a look into those bushings i mentioned. Either way after replacing those you still should do another wheel alignment. I recall reading somewhere that the compression rods determine certain alignment specs for the suspension on our cars. Not sure if that is the caster or toe.
Alright i gotta look into that compression rod bushings and lower control arm bushings sounds exactly the same as my problems i have...i got new tires and allignment awhile back and wen i did, car was still jumping and shaking but only on the freeway tho. Once i hit 60-65mph it shakes vigorously and Wen i hit 65-75mph it jumps crazy, like u said drinving on brick roads. But sounds like u basically nailed it with the both bushings because like i said new tires/alignment and still had that problem nd i was gonna get tires balanced wouldve been a waste of $$$ thanks

I'd start with inner and outer tie rods, while bushings will lower the ride quality, it shouldn't make you jump all over the road. but chances are if your tie rods are shot so are your bushings and probably control arms
So u think it could be the arms and bars? Or the bushings? Wats the difference between tie rods, compression rod, lower control arm, and bushings if u can please explain, id appreciate it. need to learn as much as i can about my car (g35)
