Changed out the midpipe 2 weeks ago. Really loving it. No drone. Nice deep tone. I bought the Bosal midpipe. Very smooth bends. Great quality. $65. I was disappointed when I first cranked it up and drove it as it was too quiet. That night I had to drive 25 miles on the freeway to a party and when I exited and got down to about 45mph I could hear it. I guess the packing had to heat up first. Y pipe to midpipe gasket was leaking from the first 140mph run I made right after I bought the car. Still need to change the y pipe to converter gaskets as they are leaking too.
Well I managed to snap both my rear lower control arm eccentric bolts while installing unrevised z suspension all around. Gotta love some rust that PB blaster can’t even get through. Luckily the infiniti dealer 10 min away had these in stock.
Out with the old (145k)... $80 z suspension has 60k and will do for now.
Was looking for coupe springs for the back mostly for looks, but I love how this sits right now on the z suspension.
Did the same to my car, 1" drop and still a decent ride. Stiffer in corners for sure but not really any rougher than the sport suspension my car already had.
. Excited to see these under some wheels.
