Can Xenon G be converted to halogen?

Hey guys! I'm new on this forum. I've been searching for weeks now and I need help. I've been looking to buy headlights for my 04 G sedan but it seems IMPOSSIBLE to find xenon headlights for a decent price. $600+ for headlights is crazy. The halogen go for $100-$250. Obviously 05-06 headlights won't fit.

I've read on the Z forums about their cars having 8 pins for HID and halogen headlights having 6 pins. Is it the same for our cars? Is there an adapter out there that can be used?

Thanks in advanced for helping.

Why do you need to buy new headlights?

Because they are yellowed beyond repair. Even inside they're beat. And, because I want a black set.

So I can put halogen headlights into a G that comes with factory xenon and install aftermarket HIDs?

You can.

The bigger question is how good are you are wiring in a relay setup using the existing wiring to activate a set of relays sending power to a standard halogen headlight harness?

It's all going to be hacked up, custom wiring. A minor hit to vehicle value if sort a thing concerns you.

Not good at all. But do you know if 350z lights are set up the same as G headlights as far as the pin setup goes?

Doubt it. Nothing is going to be plug and play here. Gonna have to break out the soldering iron, or just pony up and buy halogen headlights
