Then all the sudden you change it, then boots start to tear, bushings start to pop, ball joints start to play differently. It has to do with the age/mileage of the car.

That being said, changing the upper control arms is not "necessary", but he wants even tire wear. Getting into spec does not mean it's perfect. If you want complete tire contact patch, you need adjustable upper control arms. Nissan screwed up with their alignment angles from the factory, and lowering it will exacerbate that flaw. The comfort and control you get when all 4 tires are completely on the ground is incredible compared to stock.
Scraggle, as I just stated, I definitely believe what you are saying, Though I did say I planned on doing this myself, I'm not a mechanic and not even close to one. Depending on if I do another mod before this, this would be the first time I go under my car for something like this. With that being said, I do think I'm capable, with proper research and tutorials. Front camber arms are one thing, but for my situation, I'm not so sure I want to get into the bushings and ball joints. Do you think these are absolutely necessary to replace or something I can go without, especially considering I may only have the car for 3 more years max?

Hey JT, since your stats prove that you know a thing or two, whats your opinion? Is replacing the bushings and ball joints necessary/worth the difficulty?

FYI you might want to put 5 sets of Gorilla locks on your wheels. Don't want anyone stealing them... Or stealing them back...

Ok, don't necessarily confuse what I was saying. You bushy and bjs may be fine now, but I'm telling you if you lower the car they will soon be useless, then you'll have to go back and do it again. Doing the bushings insures you not having to go back in and do it again, and for ~$150 for all the necessary Bush's and bjs, that's pretty cheap insurance.
