eBAY Front Lip Installed on 2005 Sedan

I added an eBay 2003-2004 Sedan front lip (DISCLAIMER: IT MAY ACTUALLY BE A COUPE FRONT LIP. I AM NOT 100% SURE BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT 2ND HAND) on my 2005 Sedan. Fitment is not 100% I had to stretch and pull and run 2 screws on each wheel well side and 4 screws up under bumper. The lip came with pre-installed mounting tabs for the bottom under the bumper. The sides along the front fender look the most "off" in terms of fitment, there are gaps

It is a rubber-type ABS plastic, much like a stillen lip I had on my old maxima, but it seems more flexible overall. I plan to wrap the front lip with carbon fiber vinyl wrap I have already ordered.

Here are some pics:

The problem area is the fender area, it has gaps. The front fits great tight and snug around until it mounts on the fenders, its pulled tightly and creates a gap on each fender. The plan for me is to wrap it in vinyl, when I do, I will add some foam in the fender area to eliminate the gaps and wrap over them. I'm confident I can make it look good. If not I'm only out $50 or sell it!

For the 2 of you that bought this lip I'm curious. Why didn't you get the replica OEM lip from Ionic, one of our vendors? Fitment is spot on, they're very durable and they look exactly like the OEM which to me is a much cleaner look. Not hating at all here just curious.

Looks good Fiberglass a little piece and trim as needed to cover up the gap

I actually picked mine up 3 years ago locally for cheap. Cant Remember what I paid but it was cheap and I ended up never installing it until recently. I have bought ionic FRP parts before and had a kit on my 4th gen maxima. Problem is, I actually do not like the look of the "curvy" OEM style lip on the G35. I like it going even all the way across if that makes sense.

Anyway, just an update, I removed the lip because I decided it wasn't worth paying to get it painted so its just sitting in my garage again....

I hear you on personal taste, I love the curves of the OEM but realize it's not for everyone. Lulz at the lip in the garage again.....
