Grille Emblem Question

Grille Emblem Question
Hey guys, so i got my 2005 infinity g35x sedan a the beginning of the month and the previous owner said somebody stole the infinity emblem out of the grille. he gave me one but it doesnt fit, its too big to fit properly in the grille. So my question is, what year emblem will fit in the grille properly? thanks.

2005-2006 Sedan emblem should work.
the coupe grille is different so the emblem may be too, and the 2003-2004 grille is also slightly different so those may also be different. it would be weird if they changed the emblem sizes though as a facelift/model difference but who knows.
