G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Konsole, when buying tires there is something you really missed when considering the above B-Stones, wear factor! (UTQG) Soft tires, those with UTQG from 100 to just below 300, they're great on the track or if you have deep pockets! Summer tires with a UTQG of 300 should last 25K to 30K miles depending on your driving style and ability! I had those Poll Position B-Stones on my last Z, they were great even in driving rain with amazing traction but they were gone at 10K miles! Check thetirerack.com for wholesale prices on tires with a rating of 300, I run nothing but Michelin Super Sports...my choice and they've never let me down!

Gary, yep it's true the Pilot SS A/S came in first but the Comp 2's score came in less than 2% (out of 100 total possible points) behind the Michelins which cost more than twice as much as the BFG's. You can keep throwing money down the drain to rep your favorite tire, but I've got better things to spend my money on knowing my girls wear awesome shoes...........
Actually, the Goodyear Eagle Sport A/S was number one on Tire Rack's high performance A/S chart until for some reason, Tire Rack no longer can offer them online due to a "Goodyear advertising policy"; whatever that means.

I needed a new set of tires for the Mustang. Looks like you just made up my mind for me. $130/ea in the size I need. That's pretty damn good.
Will have to wait til spring. I want to get them in the next few weeks, but car is on stands while I do some brake/steering upgrades.
Not my favorite Tex! I had a set on my '92 Nissan TTZ, pulled into a concert, parked and I could hear air escaping from the right rear and I had less than 2K miles on em! Inside sidewalls were cracking on all four, which was when I finally went with Michelins after wasting $$ on those B-Stones I mentioned previously!

I've run into that before. Order a supposedly new set of tires from a retailer, and then see the build dates showing they've been sitting for 4-5 years before I've gotten them. Promptly sent those back.
Gonna try to take car for a spin, although it might be still too cool for good traction. May have to wait a bit longer, as I'm going to do a steering rack upgrade shortly
