Good morning Infiniti enthusiasts! I recently took my 2003 g35 sedan 6mt to have a safety inspection (the vehicle is new to me). The mechanic took me into the shop to show me the rust in the rear end of my Infiniti. The rear crossmember has perforated rust throughout. It is definitely a safety concern. Now my question is will a cross member from an 03 g35 coupe 6mt fit into the sedan rear end. I used to own a coupe and have a crossmember laying around from my last car. I know they are different part numbers but curious if it'll work. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I'm thinking no but that's just a guess supported by the different part numbers and the fact the chassis of both cars are completely different.
