What is this part called?

Also wondering how it comes out? Any references to the servixe manual are much appreciated. Talking about the plastic trim below the windshield.

Front cowl or Cowl Top depending on the year, it's in section Exterior/Interior (EI) of the FSM.

It's really easy to get off just be careful with the washer squirter hoses.

To remove it, start from the passenger side. Remove the push clips holding the cowl to the car. In the center of the car there should be a break, pull up on the passenger half to release the clip. The whole 1/2 should then slide towards to front of the car, easy. The driver side requires removal of the wipers, the 10mm right near your red grounding wire, the push clip off to far right, and then under the 2 squares there are 2 more 10mm bolts. Once all have been removed, slide it towards to front of the car. Easy.

If you haven't taken the wipers off; I'd look for a wiper remover tool. It will save you time and possibly your windshield.

Leave the nut on by a few thread, and wiggle the whole wiper front and back (towards the front and back of the car) and they should come right off.
