yeah i wish, but that's from some road work they were doing on the highway. looks like some black sealant. these pictures were taken right after i saw it. took it to the dealership and they took most of it off, but it wont come off this piece...

ooo i see what your pointing at... that is just a cheapo piec of plastic trim at the bottom of the door.. there is no helping that piece.. the paint on mine is wearing thin... POS infiniti paint job on a POS piece of plastic

Similar thing happen to me took my car to a local body shop the remove the tar and repainted.

Mine was coming off on my drivers side door. I went to the dealer because of my fuel gauge problem and mentioned the side door moulding issue and they covered the replacement under warranty. If you have your car under warranty still, I suggest you get this replaced for free. I was surprised that I didn't have to pay.
